Q1 2024 Performance of Top Hack and Slash Apps on Android in the UK

In the first quarter of 2024, the Hack and Slash category on Android has seen varied performances from its top applications in the UK market. Sensor Tower's data offers us a glimpse into how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat started the quarter with a strong download count of 10K, which tapered down to 351 downloads by the end of March. The weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at 9.8K and settling at 3.8K. Revenue peaked in the second week with $18K before falling to $3.5K by the quarter's close.

MARVEL Future Fight showcased a significant spike in downloads during the last week of January, reaching 8.5K from a few hundred in the preceding weeks. The weekly active users mirrored this pattern, peaking at 18.4K, while revenue saw a surge to $7.3K by the end of March.

For Honkai Impact 3rd, downloads and active users remained fairly steady throughout the quarter, with downloads hovering around the 400 mark and active users slightly declining from 3K to 2.8K. Revenue saw a mid-quarter jump, reaching $10.8K in early March.

Punishing: Gray Raven had a notable increase in revenue in late February, climbing to $10.4K. However, the app did not register downloads for half of the quarter, and weekly active users dipped from 854 to 579 by the end of March.

Lastly, Dynasty Legends 2 showed modest activity with no downloads recorded for several weeks and weekly active users fluctuating, ending the quarter at 143 users. Revenue for the game saw a decline, finishing at $800 in the last week of March.
